 The Sippy Cups are a family-friendly performance group featuring a pop-rock band, a circus performer and large-scale puppets. Doug is a founding member and partner of The Sippy Cups, LLC. The band creates a party atmosphere in which audience members young and old are invited to sing and dance along, volunteer for circus stunts and sometimes join the band to play onstage. The band blurs the distinction between 'kid's music' and what adults find musically exciting and fun. The repertoire is drawn from artists such as The Velvet Underground, early Pink Floyd, T Rex and The Ramones. |
